Digital Marketing Officer

NRAS is looking for a self-motivated and creative individual with a keen interest in digital marketing who can contribute to the charity’s marketing and communications strategy. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing and website content management.

Rate of Pay: £26,000 – £28,500 (DOE)
Hours:Full-time (35 hours/week)
Location:4 The Switchback Office Park, Gardner Road, Maidenhead, Berks SL6 7RJ. A combination of office and remote working is possible.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day updates on our two websites – ( and ensuring our online content is up-to-date at all times
  • Creating and developing new pages and areas on both websites
  • Liaising with external website developers to report bugs, and to develop new website functionality
  • Provide website training and monitoring for other NRAS staff members
  • Managing and helping plan social media posts ensuring consistency and timely delivery across our platforms, namely Facebook, Twitter, Instagram LinkedIn and HealthUnlocked
  • Facilitating live streaming sessions on social media (Facebook and Instagram) and providing technical support. Occasional evening work included
  • Create and manage the social media strategy, ensuring all campaigns are being promoted at the appropriate time and according to the marketing plans
  • Identify and build relationships with social media influencers in order to promote NRAS’ messages and services through them
  • Designing creative assets for use on our social media platforms and our websites
  • Compiling data-driven reports regularly to measure website and social media performance against KPIs set by the Digital Marketing Manager
  • Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with key digital projects and in carrying out any other relevant duties as required
  • Contribute to the marketing strategy for various campaigns from the digital perspective
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Assistant to manage day to day social media posts and website updates
  • Creating and monitoring social media paid advertising
  • Occasionally work with the Database manager to ensure Salesforce integration with website forms and products
  • Editing video content for website, youtube channel and social media.

  • Previous experience of managing website content
  • Basic-to-Intermediate level experience in Adobe Photoshop (or similar)
  • Educational Qualification: Undergraduate Degree or equivalent

  • Educational Qualification: Undergraduate Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience in paid social media advertising
  • Previous experience of using Salesforce, WordPress, SproutSocial, Form Assembly and Pardot (Email Marketing Automation)
  • Previous experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Premier Pro

Candidates applying for this role are not required to have pre-existing knowledge of RA or JIA to be eligible for this role. Full training will be provided during induction

Whilst this position does not require frequent off-site work, the post holder may occasionally be required to travel and work out of hours, representing the charity at external events.
