National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) to Change Name from Today

Today NRAS is excited to reveal its new charity name. After receiving more than seven comments about the length of its current name, the charity decided rather than enlist the assistance of world class marketing agencies and brand specialists, to look internally and following best practice developed a pathfinding 360-degree marketing & brand subcommittee.

At the first “blue sky” thinking meeting, we defined what we needed, the goal of surprising and delighting our members and supporters by having a bespoke, curated, tent pole idea. This would lead us to a logo that takes things to the next level, that really pops, creates synergy and mixes contemporary design but with a modern twist.

After hours of discussions we came to a final logo that we are reasonably happy with. Circling back to the length of our charity name, we feel strongly that it’s not long enough and doesn’t encompass the length, breadth, depth, space and time of what we do. At 11:15 today our CEO will talk about our new name on Facebook, Twitter, TickTock, Myspace and Instagram.
