We offer adults and children a wide range of support services, which educate and build self-management awareness and skills, helping individuals over their lifetimes as their symptoms and needs fluctuate. We also raise much-needed awareness, campaign for improvements to NHS care and access to treatments, and support patient involvement in ground-breaking research. Role Overview We are seeking an Online Learning Support Officer to assist in the development and delivery of our online learning resources, designed specifically for people living with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). This role involves working closely with key team members to coordinate production schedules, supporting marketing efforts to spread awareness and engagement, managing enquiries, producing reports, and identifying opportunities to drive engagement. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through accessible and engaging multi-media learning resources. Key Responsibilities Programme Coordination Maintain and update production schedules for e-learning modules and products. Liaise with internal teams, rheumatology experts, and other external contributors to ensure engagement and timely delivery of content. Support filming schedules, logistics and co-ordination of health professional and patient involvement in filming. Support the National Patient Champion in tracking milestones and deliverables. Marketing Support Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials. Coordinate email campaigns and social media content. Support with the production of presentations for delivery to external audiences. Work closely with the marketing team to deliver effective campaigns. Customer Service & Enquiries Respond to enquiries from system users, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of interactions and escalate complex queries as needed. Content Quality & Editorial Support Support with the sourcing of imagery and design resources for use in NRAS online learning platforms. Proofread and edit content, reports, and communications for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Work with the Information Resource Manager to ensure all materials meet accessibility and readability standards. Reporting & Administration Compile regular reports on programme performance, user engagement, and feedback. Support data entry and document management using internal systems (Salesforce) and the e-learning provider platform and admin tools. Assist with meeting preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up actions. Person Specification Essential Proven experience in executive support, project coordination, or administrative roles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom). Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Team player with ability to adapt to changing work demands. Desirable Experience in healthcare, education, or patient advocacy sectors. Previous experience of Salesforce or similar CRM system. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital content production. Knowledge of RA, JIA, or the UK healthcare system and professional standards. Experience in a marketing-focused role.
