Gifts in memory

A special way to honour a loved one when they pass away is by donating in their memory. You can make a gift in memory at any time to celebrate the life of a loved one. You may choose to donate on a significant day each year, make a one-off donation or even set up a Tribute page.

If you’re arranging a funeral or memorial service, you may also like to encourage friends and relatives to make a gift to NRAS in memory or instead of flowers. NRAS can help you to manage this process in a way that best suits your needs and situation.

To donate in memory…

  • Online: to make an online in memoriam donation click here.
  • Phone: to donate via phone with a credit card or debit card please call our fundraising team on 01628 823524.
  • Cheque: please make all cheques payable to ‘NRAS’ and sent to NRAS Fundraising team, Ground Floor, 4 Switchback Office Park, Gardner Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 7RJ.

When making any type of in memoriam donation, please let us know the name of the person your gift is in memory of so we can attribute any money raised to their memory.  If you wish NRAS to receive In Memoriam donations when you pass away, it may be helpful to inform your friends and family, executor or include instructions in your Will.

Your ‘in memory’ gift will help NRAS support children living with JIA and their families/carers and is a valuable and positive way to celebrate the life of your loved one.

Funeral Collections

Many families are now choosing to collect donations instead of flowers as a way to celebrate their loved one and create a lasting tribute to their life so we’ve made an online platform to make this easier for you to create a funeral notice and collect donations. Find out more about Funeral Collections and envelopes here.

Tribute Pages

Tribute pages are a place to celebrate and honour the memory and life of a loved one. With our Cherry Blossom Tribute you can add your own special memories with photos, videos, words and music, which can then be shared with family and friends.  Tribute pages can also be used to inform loved ones of the funeral and wake detail.

You can set up your personalised Tribute page in just a few simple steps below, search for an existing Tribute page or click here to find out more.

Grief Chat

Everyone grieves in a way that is unique to them and their relationship with the person who has passed, and no one can understand exactly what your loss feels like to you.

Sometimes it’s easier to talk to someone outside of your family and friends about grief and the impact of bereavement on your life.

This is why we offer a free GriefChat service. Find out more here.
