This RA Awareness Week (14-18 September), we’re asking for your help to make sure more people recognise the signs of rheumatoid arthritis and know where to turn for support.

This year’s campaign encourages people to trust their symptoms and take the first step towards diagnosis. Too often, people experiencing early symptoms of RA are reassured that they’re simply tired, overdoing it, or just getting older. While these comments are usually well-intentioned, they can delay someone from seeking the help they need.

That’s why we’re encouraging people to use the free “is it RA?” Symptom Checker, a simple online tool that helps individuals understand whether their symptoms may need further discussion with a healthcare professional.

How can you help

Please download and display our RA Awareness Week poster in your local community.

Whether it’s in a workplace, GP surgery, pharmacy, community centre, library, gym, café, or noticeboard, every poster helps us reach people who may be living with undiagnosed RA.

By displaying the poster, you’ll help:

  • Raise awareness of the early signs of RA
  • Encourage people to trust their symptoms
  • Signpost individuals to the “Is it RA?” Symptom Checker
  • Support earlier diagnosis and treatment

You can also help promote our message and give us a follow on our social media channels, where we’ll be focusing on the importance of early diagnosis, raising awareness on the symptoms of RA and sharing stories of people living with the condition!

Together, we can help more people recognise the symptoms of RA and take that important first step towards diagnosis.

Thank you for your support.
