Sahara Desert Trek

Location: Morocco, Africa
Duration: 7 days
Description: A challenging trek against the backdrop of the awe-inspiring Sahara Desert, this adventurous trip offers a unique desert experience. From flat desert floor scattered with ancient fossils, to perfect wind-blown sand-dunes, this trek is diverse and demanding. The vast, unforgiving desert is a truly beautiful place to discover, while the incredible star-strewn night skies are unforgettable, especially with a new moon. Accompanied by Berber guides and a small caravan of camels, our remote night-camps with camp-fires and Berber singing are often a real highlight of this Sahara trekking adventure!

Kilimanjaro Summit Climb

Location: Tanzania, Africa
Duration: 12 days
Description: This Kilimanjaro trek begins in the lush rainforests of the Lemosho Glades, climbing towards the Shira Plateau. From here it follows the Southern Flank, Barranco Wall and Barafu Route. Our groups have excellent summit success rates (96%), yet Kilimanjaro – with its 1,000m ascent and 2,000m descent – must not be underestimated.

Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Location: Inca Trail, Peruvian Andes, South America
Duration: 10 days
Description: Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic sights in South America, and the culmination of our magnificent Inca Trail trek through the Peruvian Andes. Join us as we trek this breathtakingly beautiful route through valleys and high passes, scattered with fascinating Inca ruins.

Trekking on Inca-paved paths and steps, our route takes us up through lush cloudforest to the demanding Dead Woman’s Pass (4200m). Continually climbing up or dropping down, our way is steep at times, and the altitude adds to the challenge. We finally come to the Sun Gate, which overlooks Machu Picchu, where your first magical glimpse provides an unforgettable reward for your efforts.

Great Wall of China

Location: China
Duration: 9 days
Description: Appropriately named one of the ‘New Wonders of the World, the Great Wall of China is a thrilling challenge of ups, downs, twists and turns. With 10,000 deliberately uneven steps, this trip will challenge even the most dedicated trekker. Exhaustion will quickly vanish however, as you are rewarded with sweeping views over the vast mountain ranges.

Snowdon by Night (Yr Wyddfa)

Location: Snowdonia National Park, North Wales
Duration: 2 days
Description: Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is synonymous with beautiful, rugged landscapes and wonderful trekking and outdoor pursuits. The highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085m, Snowdon’s Welsh name is Yr Wyddfa, reputedly the burial place of a mythical giant. A popular summit trek by day-time, it forms a real challenge by night. Standing at the summit by moonlight will be an unforgettable experience, as will seeing the sunrise from the mountain slopes as we descend. Witnessing the spectacular landscapes opening up before us as the day grows lighter is a magical and unforgettable experience.

Yorkshire Three Peaks

Location:  Ingleborough, Whernside & Pen y Ghent, Yorkshire
Duration: 3 days
Description: This region was shaped by glaciers many thousands of years ago, and there are plenty of geological landmarks – striking limestone outcrops and unusual rock formations – to pique our interest as we walk. We will also see the famous Ribblehead Viaduct enroute, part of the scenic Settle to Carlisle railway line. This is an extremely tough event over hilly landscapes; at 24 miles it forms an enormous challenge for walkers.

Northern Lights Winter Trek

Location:  Iceland
Duration: 5 days
Description: Iceland lies on the edge of the Arctic Circle and is home to some of Europe’s greatest wild landscapes. A land of incredible contrast and natural beauty, its wild volcanic landscapes, mountains, glaciers, hot springs, geysers and waterfalls, combined with its rich history, literature and folklore make it a fascinating country to explore. We discover this stunning scenery on this fantastic trekking challenge in southern Iceland, as we trek through a striking mix of geothermal valleys and beautiful mountain scenery, streams and waterfalls. There will be snow underfoot so it’s challenging walking, but no technical expertise required as we take advantage of seeing this beautiful region in winter. Staying in a spectacular environment surrounded by lakes and mountain scenery, miles from the nearest big towns, the dark skies offer a great chance of seeing the spectacular Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and we watch each evening – the icing on the cake on this memorable challenge!

Tour de Mont Blanc Trek

Location:  Italy, France, Switzerland
Duration: 5 days
Description: The Mont Blanc region boasts one of the world’s most renowned trekking circuits, with some of the most awe-inspiring scenery imaginable – all within a short hop from the UK! We take in three countries in three days of trekking as we circle the highest peak in Western Europe. Our challenge is physically demanding and will test your stamina and determination, but the rewards are some of the most spectacular views Europe has to offer – an array of towering cliffs, waterfalls spilling from glaciers, forested tracks, open meadows and crystal clear lakes. It’s wonderful trekking, and Mont Blanc is our constant companion throughout.

The Dali Lama Trek

Location: North India
Duration: 12 days
Description: From the madness of Delhi, to the beauty and tranquillity of the Indian Himalaya, this unique expedition is the perfect introduction to India. The challenge follows the Uhl River, through the heart of the world’s highest mountain range in Dharamsala, where the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan community are located. The region remains largely unvisited, which makes it a pristine and unspoilt area to explore via foot.
